Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 28, 2026

1. Who We Are

ShopOps ("we," "us," "our") provides a business management platform for window tint, paint protection film (PPF), and vehicle wrap shops. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our website, web application, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, and business address.

Customer Data

When you use the Service to manage your business, you may input customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, vehicle information, appointment details, quotes, and payment information. You are the data controller for your customer data, and we process it on your behalf.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages viewed, features used, browser type, device type, and IP address.

Communication Data

When you or your customers send or receive SMS messages, appointment confirmations, or other communications through the Service, we process and store those messages to provide the Service.

Bot Protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that visitors to our site are human and to protect against abuse. Turnstile collects client-side signals — including IP address, user-agent, TLS fingerprint, the sitekey and its associated origin, and limited behavioral and device characteristics — solely to distinguish humans from bots. Turnstile does not set tracking cookies and is not used for advertising. Cloudflare processes this data as our service provider. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Policy and Privacy Policy for details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups via SMS on your behalf
  • Process payments and generate invoices
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests
  • Improve and develop the Service
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. SMS Messaging and Consent

ShopOps enables shop owners to send SMS messages to their customers for appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, review requests, and marketing communications. The shop owner is responsible for obtaining proper consent from their customers before sending messages through the Service.

Consent may be obtained verbally (in person or by phone), in writing, or electronically. By providing a phone number to a shop using ShopOps, customers consent to receive transactional and informational SMS messages related to their appointment or service.

Message frequency varies based on appointment activity. Message and data rates may apply. Customers may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Customers may text HELP for assistance.

We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers or SMS consent data with third parties for their marketing purposes. Phone numbers and consent information are used solely for delivering the messaging services described above.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We use third-party providers to operate the Service, including cloud hosting, payment processing, SMS delivery (Twilio), email delivery, and bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). These providers access data only as necessary to perform their services.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Google Ads Integration (Google User Data)

Who Accesses the Data

ShopOps is the service that accesses Google Ads data. Access happens only when a shop owner connects their Google Ads account and authorizes ShopOps to do so.

What Data ShopOps Accesses

When a shop connects Google Ads, ShopOps accesses only the following:

  • The shop's existing conversion actions, so they can choose which one to use.
  • The shop's Google Ads account identifier (customer ID), to populate their settings.
  • The ability to create a new conversion action on the shop's behalf, only when they don't already have one suitable for offline conversion imports.
  • The ability to upload offline conversion events when a customer completes an action the shop is tracking.

ShopOps does not access anything beyond these four items. We do not access campaigns, budgets, keywords, billing, or performance data.

How ShopOps Uses the Data

Each item powers a feature the shop turns on:

  • The list of conversion actions powers a selector in the shop's settings.
  • The Google Ads account identifier (customer ID) auto-fills a field in the shop's settings.
  • Conversion action creation enables one-click setup when the shop has no suitable conversion action.
  • Conversion uploads let the shop measure which leads came from their ads.

How the Data Is Stored and Secured

This data is transmitted and stored securely, accessed only with the shop's authorization, and used only to provide the conversion tracking features the shop enables.

How the Data Is Shared

ShopOps does not sell this data, does not use it for advertising or retargeting, and does not use it to train AI or machine learning models.

Data Deletion

When the shop disconnects their Google Ads account or deletes their ShopOps account, the associated Google authorization and data are removed, consistent with the 90-day deletion timeframe described elsewhere in this policy.

Limited Use

ShopOps's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
